About PYP
What is the Primary Years Programme?
The PYP prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. It focuses on the development of the whole child. (IBO) The PYP is a constructivist model of education. This approach to education works on the general belief that learners have prior knowledge that they use to understand and develop new ideas about the world around them.
